We provide counselling under a number of different programs which we have listed below.
There are a number of different referral pathways and costs for each program.

Telehealth via video conferencing or phone is available.
Telehealth has been shown to be very effective in the delivery of therapy. Our therapists are experienced in using Telehealth and have been providing therapy and supervision via this platform for some time. All our therapies are available over this platform.
Referrals Under Medicare
Under Medicare's Better Access to Mental Health Care Program, Clinical Social Workers can provide approved focused psychological strategies and psychological therapies for a broad range of commonly experienced mental health problems including depression, anxiety, panic, phobias, substance issues, sleep problems, grief, loss and trauma related conditions.
Treatment under Medicare involves a collaborative approach between your Doctor (either your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician) and your Clinician.
To be referred under Medicare you will need to be referred by your Doctor with a Mental Health Care Plan (if being referred by your GP) or a Psychiatrist Assessment and Management Plan (if being referred by your Psychiatrist).
Under the Medicare program you are able to access 10 sessions per calendar year.

A Medicare rebate of $81.90 (minimum) applies when referred under a Mental Health Care Plan.
Victims of Crime Counselling
The NSW Department of Justice offers a free counselling program to anyone who has been impacted by a violent crime in NSW. We are all approved providers of this counselling program and are specialised in trauma informed approaches and in domestic violence and sexual assault counselling.
People who have either been direct victims of a crime, or impacted by a violent crime, by witnessing it or helping someone experiencing violence are eligible. The act of violence does not have to be reported to police and people who have experienced violence in the past are also eligible. Common circumstances where people are able to access victim of crime counselling include, but are not limited to; domestic violence, sexual and indecent assault (at all ages), physical assault, home invasion, robbery, family members of homicide victims.
We are more than happy to talk you through the referral process before you proceed. We can also assist current clients to transition to this counselling program where eligibility is likely and where the client wishes to do this.

Fee
Free of charge to the client. Your counsellor receives $120/hr (minimum) reimbursement from the NSW Department of Justice. Initial sessions 90 minutes. Ongoing session length is negotiated and dependent on need.
Private Clients
You are able to access our services without any referral as a private client. As a private client you can self-refer, just contact us to make an appointment.
As a private client there are no rebates available on the fees for your sessions.

Private Health Insurance
Some Medical Funds pay rebates for Social Work services, provided that you have ‘extras’ cover.
Teacher's Health, Uni Health and Nurses & Midwives Health currently offer rebates depending on your cover.
For rebates to be payable from some of these funds, you may be required to provide the following items:

A referral from a General Practitioner to the Social Worker

The Social Workers' provider number for the specific health fund, and

A stamped receipt from the Social Worker
It is advised that you check with your health fund about their eligibility requirements before making an appointment.
